The Leimu lamp was created by the Norwegian-born designer Magnus Pettersen. In the Leimu lamp two materials are combined in a surprising way, the classic glass lampshade joins a concrete base. "The union of glass and concrete is known in architecture, but it is not necessarily always beautiful. I wanted to combine two opposites in a lamp in a natural way and show that hard and sensitive, cold and hot can work together," explains Petterson. The Leimu table lamp is made of blown glass and is made in Finland. Given the process used to make them, the color of the glass may vary slightly and each piece is unique.
