The Sofisticato collection owes its raw, timeless beauty to the minimalist design and the frequent use of blue steel. Or as Koen Van Guijze describes it: “A straightforward material, fashioned by human hands, not spat out by a machine.” Every single part is manually milled, turned, sawn, drilled, and welded by craftsmen. Then the steel is heated and carefully polished by hand. This procedure makes the steel rust-resistant, in addition to giving it its characteristic blue glow.

Wall Lamp Pierre Beige

Following the launch of the Louis and Jack lamps, named after her twin sons, Anita Le Grelle is now bringing two, smaller variations of these wall lamps on the market. The stoneware lamps were created by applying several layers of stoneware clay on top of each other, connecting them to each other. Unlike the horizontal Louis and Jack lamps, the Pierre lamp (named after another of Anita’s sons) is a vertical model.
