Nordic Ware® was founded in 1946 by a determined wife, Dotty, and her husband Dave, who returned from World War II. With little pocket money and a couple of good ideas, they launched a humble set of kitchen utensils in the basement of their home in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
For more than 70 years, it has continued to proudly produce the vast majority of its products in Minneapolis. Those original Scandinavian products have been joined by hundreds of other items in Nordic Ware's product offering, from bakeware and cookware to microwave products and grill accessories.
The Bundt® line rose to worldwide fame when it was used to bake the classic donut-shaped cake, finding its way into the hearts and kitchens of people around the world. Bundt® cake has become the quintessential American dessert, a tradition at countless family gatherings and celebrations.
Bundt cake is a much loved cake in America that also has a national holiday!
