Jesper has designed pair of melamine salad servers with a slightly twisted handle so that it readily fits the hand in use. The matte black salad servers matches his collection of cutlery and kitchen knives.

Few domestic tools are as intimate and as important to us as those connected with eating, cooking and serving. Details like volume, balance and weight — the tactile characteristics of the material and the way in which the tools lie in the hand — all contribute to the total impression of the meal.

"Designing a collection of cutlery and kitchen tools is the ultimate design project. It involves the functional aspects of ergonomics and production, to find the right balance and weight. But also artistic expression — strong visual, emotional and tactile qualities. It's a collection of everyday jewellery.”
