The graceful Nappula candle holder from Iittala, designed by Matti Klenell, is a beautiful combination of classic and contemporary design. Nappula manages to appear cheerful and elegant at the same time. Its greatest peculiarity is the base, round and robust, which gives the candle holder a characteristic silhouette and keeps it in an upright position. Klenell is said to have found inspiration for the shape of Nappula during a visit to the glass museum in Nuutajärvi, Finland, where he noticed a particular table with unusually rounded legs.

Iittala has re-released the Nappula brass candle holders in 2022, after being withdrawn from production in 2017. The candle holders are made from untreated brass, so they will tend to develop a beautiful patina over time, with the surface taking on darker shades or even green. If you prefer to maintain the original color and shine, we recommend polishing the candle holders regularly.

The set includes two candle holders: one smaller and one larger.
