The Tognana porcelains are subjected to careful and rigorous laboratory controls, also in collaboration with the Bologna Ceramic Center and the Experimental Station of Glass in Venice.
The high quality standard of our products is guaranteed by a washing test with industrial dishwashers, abrasion and mechanical strength. Our paints, also used for the decorations, are verified by the American Food & Drug Administation and perfectly satisfy the requirements required by the strict U.S. "Proposition 65" relatively to the presence of heavy metals. The Tognana porcelains also have a high capacity to absorb heat and release it gradually, ensuring that foods and drinks remain warm over time.
All products, intended for the hotel and catering channels, have the painted edge and polished foot in order to avoid unpleasant scratches on your tables, on the placeholder or when the workpieces are stacked one above the other. In order to rationalize the use, tea cups and cappuccino cups broth and mugs can be used with the same plate.
